Bitcoin miner Marathon Digital (MARA) to roll out Slipstream - a new offering that will help expedite the processing of complex transactions. If a complex transaction meets Marathon's minimum fee threshold and conforms to the network's consensus rules, the miner will add the transaction to the members pool or mempool for mining, the miner said. Mempools are essentially waiting rooms for Bitcoin transactions.

According to one analyst, bitcoin options are signaling a bullish sentiment post-halving, evidenced by the strike positioning and put-call ratio for the end-of-month expiry in June. "The June expiry is a good gauge for halving sentiment and our charts shows much more upside positioning. The put-call ratio is significantly lower in June, at 0.28 versus 0.55 for March, and strike positioning is also higher," Deribit Chief Commercial Officer Luuk Strijers told The Block.

Coinbase’s non-US exchange saw over $1 billion in daily trading volume on Feb. 20. Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong commented that it was the “first time” the non-US unit surpassed the $1 billion daily volume mark and noted that the service “continues to grow.” The amount includes an Ethereum (ETH) perpetual trading volume of $557.5 million, Bitcoin (BTC) perpetual trading volume of $425.9 million, and Solana (SOL) perpetual trading volume of $50.6 million.

Data unveiled during Asia hours from Coinbase revealed a sizable withdrawal of over 18,000 Bitcoin, as confirmed by Arkham Intelligence, Glassnode, and Coinglass. This substantial outflow of nearly $1 billion has significantly influenced Coinbase’s exchange balance. The funds have been sent to several different addresses with the Bitcoin split across new wallets. The authorities relied on crypto tracing software to allege that he transferred the Bitcoin into his own possession.
