Here are some of today’s most important headlines:

It looks like Bitcoin could be turning around!

Whales are aggressively stacking up BTC as prices drop to near the $30,000 mark.

The latest data has revealed that major exchanges are now seeing larger outflows of Bitcoin than inflow.

Between the 7th and 28th of December, CryptoQuant monitored an increase of BTC reserves from 2.396 million to 2.428 million across 21 major platforms. Since then, reserves have fallen to 2.366 million BTC.

This could be a sign that the age-old trend of Bitcoin whales sparking price reversals is manifesting itself once again. Even El Salvador has made use of the BTC price dip and copped another 410 BTC – their cheapest ever!

It’s looking like former president Donald Trump’s family may be taking legal action over the promotion of one ‘TrumpCoin’ that is in no way legally affiliated with the Trump household.

Yesterday, Donald Trump’s son, Eric Trump, tweeted the following:

“Fraud Alert: It has come to our attention that someone is promoting a crypto currency called “TrumpCoin” (Symbol “TRUMP”) This has NOTHING to do with our family, we do not authorize the use and we are in no way affiliated with this group. Legal action will be taken.”

TrumpCoin holds a market cap of around $1.5 million with just over 6.6 million tokens in circulation. The irony is that the coin has seen little trading action until Eric Trump tweeted about it, seemingly causing a 350% spike!

What’s more, the TrumpCoin website actually disclaimed that it was in no way affiliated with the Trump family!

John Lennon’s son, Julien Lennon, is launching an NFT series entitled, ‘Lennon Connection: The NFT Collection’, in honour of his late father.

Each NFT in the collection is an audio-visual piece, narrated by Julien himself.

Various items are up for grabs with pieces like Lennon’s coat from Magical Mystery Tour, and even McCartney’s handwritten notes for Hey Jude, among some of the most sought after items in the series.

Though Julien will be keeping the physical items, NFT holders will hold rights to the relevant unique NFT.

Artists like Snoop Dogg and Eminem have already bought into the NFT craze in various forms. However, to see that Lennon’s son has enough respect for the industry to tokenise some of the music industry’s most prized items, is encouraging to say the least!
