The SEC has requested the freezing of the exchange's assets, accusing CZ of misappropriating client funds, allegedly using them to purchase an $11 million yacht and supporting BUSD.

CZ stated that only the assets of Binance US can be frozen, and only if authorized by a court. This will have no impact on Binance itself.
