Greetings, Deximum community! We want to give some updates on our development progress with DexiSwap Protocol v2.0. The current market situation has created technological challenges for the whole marketmaking scene, along with Deximum. As of right now, our dev team is in the middle of R&D process, developing a solution that mitigates the effects of impermanent loss with the use of collaterall assets and random-event liquidations. Along with our analytics team, they’re currently testing out specific mathematical models in order to determine the most universally applicable and efficient method. We’ll be posting progress and more technical details regarding the protocol in the nearest time!

2022-02-01 17:11:30 Greetings, Deximum Community! Today we’re coming out to share a couple updates regarding the operations of DexiSwap Exchange. As of right now, the situation in the crypto market has been going downhill. Recently, together with the stock market crash, all crypto prices have recently fallen down by up to 30-40%. Such news has been unfortunate for traders and investors across all markets: Robinhood, one of the largest trading platforms for retail traders, has filed over $423M losses in 2021 and thus is predicted to lose about 15% of their active user base over the course of Q1 2022. In order to keep sustainable and ensure that our liquidity providers are able to earn on their assets, we’ve decided to execute a several-step plan. It includes a better diversified asset portfolio for DexiSwap pools with risk-weighted and hedged positions, and an update to the DexiSwap 2.0 protocol that will ensure seamlessness of atomic swaps on our DEX without the risks of inflicting huge impermanent losses on the liquidity providers.

In the near future, we will recalculate all liquidity pools based on the current DSTo rate and will publish the DSTo token on the decentralized exchange PancakeSwap for public tendering. The smart contract of the DSTo token will be released within the Binance Smart Chain network with the use of BEP20 standard. Detailed instructions will be available right after the launch of the smart contract.
