Yuga Labs's NFT collection Meebits launched a music album that's also collectable as ERC-1155 NFTs. a subsidiary of the generative AI music platform Authentic Artists that announced a partnership with Yuga on Nov. 3.

Users can listen to the album's 22 tracks, 13 of which have freshly dropped, on music streaming platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music. Meebit holders can collect the NFTs for free, paying only a gas fee. U.S. District Court of Central California denied a motion in favor of Bored Ape NFT creators in their lawsuit against artist Ryder Ripps and Jeremy Cahen.An ongoing legal tiff between NFT developers Yuga Labs and an artist and his NFT business partner continues as a U.S. federal court denied a motion.

Yuga Labs first filed the lawsuit in June against California-based artist Ryder Ripps and the founder of NFT marketplace Not Larva Labs, Jeremy Cahen, accusing them of copying and selling NFT collections and devaluing the original Bored Ape products. The District Court of Central California has now denied these motions. he would only agree to settle the case for a payout of at least $100 billion.

Vkontakte, dubbed the largest social media in Russia, allows users to display their NFTs on the platform. The update will enable holders of collectibles to use them as avatars on their profile by connecting their NFT wallets to user accounts on Vkontakte.

The social media company also alerted its users that beyond the NFT display feature, an NFT marketplace will be launched soon where NFTs can be traded between users on the same platform. This will come alongside Vkontakte’s first NFT collection. Vkontakte introduced an educational course on non-fungible tokens to aid the understanding of Web3 tools for its users.

Oracle provider Chainlink announced in a Dec. 15 blog post that it is now offering floor price feeds for Ethereum-based non-fungible tokens (NFTs). Coinbase Cloud first announced the feature in conjunction with Chainlink in September.

Chainlink’s NFT price feeds gather market data from multiple NFT marketplaces, calculate averages through Coinbase Cloud’s data analysis features, then deliver price data to smart contracts and applications through a decentralized oracle network. Chainlink’s announcement today indicates that the price feeds are now available.

On Dec. 14, 2022, statistics show that non-fungible token (NFT) sales jumped 27.72% higher than NFT sales recorded last week. The Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) NFT collection captured the most sales this week but on Wednesday afternoon, the floor value tied to Cryptopunks.

Once again Ethereum NFT sales dominate as the chain saw $129.99 million in NFT sales out of the $154 million seven-day aggregate. NFT sales from ETH jumped 37.73% higher than ETH-based NFT sales last week. Besides Ethereum, NFT sales from Solana, Immutable X, Polygon, and Cardano followed. In addition to Ethereum’s NFT sales increase, Immutable X NFT sales rose 5.20% higher than the week prior.
