Cryptocurrency exchange Bybit has launched Bybit Launchpad token listing platform. This is reported in the blog of the trading platform.

The first token sale on Bybit Launchpad started on September 22, 2021. The BitDAO project put up 5 million BIT control tokens for sale.

BitDAO is a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) in an investment fund format that manages $552 million in assets.

BIT's listing will support 31 BitDAO partners, including Founders Fund, Pantera Capital, Dragonfly, Spartan Group, Jump Capital, Amber, SushiSwap, Polygon, Alan Howard and Kane Warwick.

Non-exchangeable tokens (NFTs) featuring cartoon lobsters in costumes have raised more than $4 million to support lobbying efforts in support of the decentralized finance (DeFi) sector. All proceeds from secondary sales will also go to support DeFi's lobbying efforts around the world.

On Sept. 5, the non-interchangeable token platform and community Universe announced that its Lobster NFTs sold out in less than an hour, raising $4 million.

Each NFT was minted for 0.1 ETH (approximately $390), with all 1,000 ethers raised from the initial sales being sent to donate to a "nonprofit organization dedicated to the political issues facing cryptocurrencies."
