Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao pointed out that Google search results promote phishing sites targeting cryptocurrency users. He posted a screenshot that shows fraudulent sites with the tag "advertisement" at the top of the results for the query "coinmarketcap".
Zhao said his company is trying to contact Google to resolve the issue. He also warned users against adding smart contract addresses to MetaMask on such phishing sites.
