When it comes to Coinpaper - there's been quite a lot going on lately. On the technical side, we continue to work on web development, and besides fixing minor, occasional bugs, we are introducing new functionalities to optimize the user experience continuously.
Along with the ongoing marketing, we have decided to expand the team with another journalist!

Legal: As a consequence of Student Coin's international expansion, our legal department (which we have recently managed to grow) is dealing with an incalculable number of tasks to keep our business running as smoothly as possible. Every department in our company works every day for our business to provide a comfortable environment to implement our products.

First of all, last week we managed to publish the careers subpage, which has proved to be very popular among our community since its first days. Thank you for visiting it so eagerly and submitting both yourselves and your friends!

COINPAPER: continues to gain momentum, establishing its presence as an increasingly recognizable medium.
A long-awaited marketing campaign will soon be launched. This will significantly boost the portal's coverage, translating into the increased value of Student Coin in the long term.

VOTING: as announced, this week brings the return of votings! The first one will concern the STC Updates – their frequency and (in part) – their content. You will have the option of choosing to opt for the new style (a once-a-month update with a more general summary of the current month) or staying with the current bi-weekly form.

Voting will take place this Friday, 27 May in our STC Wallet.

Among other priorities, we want to improve our external communications further and provide the content you are expecting. We will strive to make voting a powerful tool in the STC-Investors relationship.

SECURITY: the recent increase in phishing activity has caused some of our users to lose their e-mail logins and passwords. As this may result in fraudulent attempts to make withdrawals – we've decided to add more security measures from the support perspective to make it even more difficult for unauthorized people to withdraw funds.

We, therefore, ask for caution and remember that the time you contact our support team is crucial to ensure that your funds are 100% protected until the matter is resolved.

In this biweekly update, we would like to touch upon the most current matters:

STC Terminal: up to now, 112 tokens have been created on our Terminal.

The following steps in development will be extending the Terminal's functionalities to make it secure and useful for future launchpads.

STC Voting: as it is fully functional, starting this month, we plan to return to voting, where our community will have a direct influence on issues such as our transparency, communications strategy, or branding.

The fourth Orion.Money airdrop was successfully conducted.

We’ve improved the quality assurance of our products.

Careers subpage: further front-end development and final changes before the publication of the subpage, which will take place in the upcoming days.

Apart from that, a part of our team is still focused on working on the announced DeFi project, where we support our partner with our blockchain experts and know-how.

Marketing: besides expanding of tracking system by our tech team, we managed to establish cooperation with the company that will be preparing advanced analytics for the website and the web app. 

We also acquired a license to advertise through the Snapchat platform.

Listings: last but not least, as questions about listings are constantly being raised - we want to remind you that, as announced on Coinbase's Twitter account - we are one of the projects under review.
We have submitted full documentation of our project in recent days.

TEAM: We’re proud to announce that our team has never grown faster! Each month, increasingly more people are coming into our office who are experts in their niche fields. We understand that a well-qualified team is the foundation of the success of every project, and that is why we have been dedicating it so much time lately. Also, we are currently being supported by experienced professionals who serve as mentors, giving us the know-how to get to our goal of creating an ecosystem as soon as possible.

BRAND AWARENESS: As we have recently mentioned, one of our softer focuses is working on our brand awareness and brand recognition. In the upcoming weeks, you can expect to see a lot of work-related to employer branding, powerful PR policy, and creating a solid online identity.

COINPAPER: We cannot be thankful enough that all our hard work has not gone to waste, and our community is visiting Coinpaper so frequently! With your feedback, we will continue to develop and evolve the platform - and believe us, the plans are very ambitious!

As the last two weeks have been heavily focused on Coinpaper, its latest improvements, and the launch itself – this update will be primarily on this happening.

However, before we get to that, we would like to remind and thus encourage you to stake STC, as starting with the upcoming airdrop - the next Orion.Money airdrops will already be available to those currently staking.

Team: back in the office, we are very committed to recruiting and constantly scouting for talents from the crypto industry. We are conducting many processes, predominantly for IT roles, which will directly translate to our growth.

Furthermore, we're also recruiting for a few more international roles, which you will be able to see in our upcoming careers subpage. If you've ever considered that working with us might be for you, please stay tuned for a separate post linking to this subpage. Perhaps it's you we're looking for!

Coinpaper: first of all, we would like to sincerely thank you for such a positive response and massive interest in the portal. In 7 days, Coinpaper made a big splash as our promotional contest reached nearly 200,000 people, which translated significantly into an interest in the portal, as evidenced by almost 800 people who signed up for the newsletter.

The traffic on the Coinpaper website was so substantial that a few bugs came up during the launch. These are currently being fixed while we're putting the final touches on the strategy of further traffic acquisition and building a solid community. We are much less worried about the content itself, as it is supervised by our qualified journalists led by our experienced Editor-in-Chief (PS. recently, they even caught a mistake of another famous news giant ).

In the end, as the number of characters limits us, we can assure you that information about the DeFi protocol is coming faster than you think and is certainly not what you'd expect.
