Monthly ‘Buy Bitcoin’ searches online hits 241k, 3x more than ‘Buy Gold’


As more individuals seek a hedge against inflation in 2021, the number of worldwide monthly keyword searches for purchasing assets has revealed some interesting findings.

Data compiled by Finbold reveals that the average online monthly searches for the keyword ‘Buy Bitcoin’ worldwide has reached 241,000, which is three times more than ‘Buy Gold’ and nearly six times more than ‘Buy Ethereum.’

In particular, people searching for the three target keywords across all countries are led by the United States and the United Kingdom, respectively.

The findings reveal that Americans search for Buy Bitcoin 116,000 times per month, which is 48% of the global volume searches, approximately three times as often as they search for Buy Gold 39,000, which was still 65% majority over the other nations. Open / Comment

PayPal’s Crypto Trading Services Are Now Fully Available In The UK


PayPal today announced via its Twitter page that eligible customers in the U.K. can now fully buy, sell, and hold Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, and Litecoin from their PayPal wallets.

Once again, the expansion of the crypto service to the U.K. testifies to its popularity among users. Many people, especially those starting their journey in cryptocurrencies, would appreciate easier ways of profiting from, transacting, and owning digital currencies without the hassles of manually managing a wallet, private keys, and doing crypto-to-fiat conversions in multiple steps. PayPal service would be popular for that as it is a good way to start.

PayPal started enabling crypto purchases, selling, and holding services last fall, but that was only for United States residents.

U.K. customers will be able to buy crypto for as little as £1 and up to £15,000 in a single purchase from their account dashboards. Open / Comment
