Forbes columnist compared some fresh predictions about the future of metaverses from leading analytical companies. The conclusion is quite optimistic!

Already this year, according to experts from Gartner, the creation of metaverse has become one of the top ten technology trends.

Also, Gartner believes that there's only four to five years to wait until the moment when metaverse will enter our daily lives. They stated that by 2027, more than 40% of large organizations around the world will actively use a combination of Web3, spatial computing and digital twins in metaverse-based projectsand.

And McKinsey estimated that by 2030, the metaverse could bring in up to $5 trillion, just haven't decided which business sectors will benefit first.

Analysts at IDC are betting on retail. They believe up to 65% of retailers will integrate visual search technology, AR and NFT into their operations over the next two years.

Other experts suggest that meta-technology will first of all shoot in the entertainment industry, education, tourism or maybe in medicine.

In short, everyone has a chance now. This means that everyone should look for new sources of inspiration and income in the meta-space without delay! 2023-03-11 22:04:09 The ARtillery Intelligence research group has released fresh forecasts for the mobile AR market, and it's very optimistic!

Here are just a few numbers:

Global mobile AR revenues will nearly triple from 2021 to 2026, from $12.45 billion to $36.26 billion.

Already today the number of AR compatible smartphones is estimated at about 1.5 billion, and taking into account WEB AR - they are twice as much! And this number is steadily growing, increasing the army of fans of this magical technology.

By the end of 2022, according to experts' calculations, the number of people using AR on the phone has already exceeded one billion, and by 2026 there will be almost 1.7 billion.

Naturally, user spending on AR will also grow: from $1.89 billion in 2021 to nearly $5.82 billion by 2026. Right now, purchases in gaming apps, mostly Pokémon Go, dominate. But the ecosystem is rapidly evolving and digital services are rapidly growing in popularity, especially in metaverses.

And one more interesting nuance: in 2021 alone, thanks to the incredible capabilities of mobile AR, over $26 billion worth of physical goods were sold! The calculations, of course, are approximate. Here, purchases of things visualized and advertised using augmented reality were taken into account, including offers to try on things and arrange furniture on a "try before you buy" basis. But the amount sounds very impressive and speaks volumes about how effective AR has already become for real business!
