Think of the last time when you visited an actual bank branch and it might be years ago. On the other hand the quantity of financial interactions in our daily lives has multiplied, albeit in a different (digital) context:
— Through our banking apps, we have a bank in our fingertips
— We order a taxi, ride and when we get off the payment has already taken place
— Our checking account automatically can move idle funds to a savings account
The more financial services become embedded – and therefore more important – in our daily lives, the more they take a back-stage and become invisible.
