Ripple would “welcome” an XRP ETF, CEO says

Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse commented on prospects for an XRP exchange-traded fund (ETF) in an interview with Bloomberg on Feb. 20. However, he did not describe any definite plans toward that end. When asked whether Ripple is currently in talks with asset managers such as BlackRock to issue an ETF. In November 2023, a leaked filing suggested that BlackRock was pursuing an XRP ETF. However, the asset manager quickly confirmed that the filing was fake.
