NEAR and LUNA defied crypto blues that dragged bitcoin lower
The cryptocurrency market is struggling to deliver a convincing positive narrative even after clawing back some of last quarter's losses, and almost all the major coins have seen their value diminish this year.
Well, almost all. Two virtual coins – Near Protocol's native token NEAR and Terra's LUNA – have defied the overall market lethargy to become the only gainers of 2022 among cryptocurrencies with market capitalisation above $10bn (£7.6bn).Terra is the best performing major digital token with a 21% advance through Thursday, followed by NEAR at 19%.
