Now how I’d trade this…
Even though we are technically BEARISH… I’d have a long opened here (40412) and close it if dxy breaks the FIRST green line next to the first arrow pointing downwards. - it gives me super good risk reward. And really, why would dollar be bullish now?
Sometimes, a good trade and a good accuracy are two different things.
Yesterday I watched high-stakes poker, and a pro player, calling all in with A-6 pre flop.
It’s shit if you don’t look at the pot odds, but the pro played it because:
the pot odds were almost favorable, and he had a chance of eliminating the guy from the tournament at the 4th spot.

so he knew his hand is beaten two times out of three, but he was getting (because of other players and pot commitment) not bad odds of calling and if winner, a chance to eliminate a guy who can later cause him problems.
Same is here…
We are bearish technically (trending),
however, if you see dxy, on a smaller retrace (not even here at 40412) but when the dxy would be pumping (but not crossing on a close the arrow line marked on the chart above), I’d enter long, I’d not have a stop loss, but I’d be the stop loss, I’d be watching dxy, and as long as it looks to me it will drop, I’d keep the long. That’s very very tight area, very good risk reward… and bam, there you have an amazing trade setup most will miss.
Sharing this with you because this way of thinking can help you tremendously in your trading.
