PayPal is reportedly in the process of hiring crypto-focused employees for its Ireland offices. The positions, which are based in Dublin and Dundalk, involve the prevention of money laundering, the promotion of compliance and business development.
The recruitment comes as PayPal have seen increasing success in the crypto services that they offer in the US, particularly where BTC and ETH are involved.
It is also in line with a recent statement given by the company's CEO, which highlighted his intentions to expand PayPal's crypto services into the UK.
