SkyBridge Capital, an institutional asset manager, has entered into a partnership with MOSS Earth, a carbon credit provider. Through the parternship, SkyBridge has purchased tokens that signify 38,436 tons of carbon offsetting.
The founder of SkyBridge, Anthony Scaramucci, highlighted his belief that the BTC mining industry would be completely renewable by 2030, but suggested that carbon offsets could be an effective solution until it reaches that point.
Other crypto companies that have engaged with carbon offsetting include FTX and Gemini.
