Rothschild Investment Trust Capital Partners, the British investment firm owned by Jacob Rothschild, and Liberty City Ventures, a New York-based fund, recently teamed up to lead a pre-A funding round.
The round was for Aspen Digital, a digital asset investment platform currently based in Hong Kong. The company secured $8.8 million, which will be put towards developing it into a space geared towards asset managers, institutions and professional investors, with centralised crypto offerings. As well as this, Aspen aims to expand into London and Singapore, as a jumping-off point for gaining users in Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
Contributors to the funding round included Token Bay Capital, Cherubic Ventures and Somerley Capital.
