Brian Brooks has revealed that he has handed in his resignation as CEO of Binance.US, after holding the role for less than four months.
Brooks cited differences regarding strategy as the reason for his stepping down. Meanwhile, Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao emphasised that Brooks' decision would not affect users of the exchange. He stated that his confidence in Binance.US, and its capability to grow, remained.
However, there has been much speculation surrounding Brooks' departure. For example, people have considered the possibility that Brooks left as a result of the difficulties Binance has encountered regarding regulation. None of this is confirmed.
