Shark Tank host Kevin O'Leary has taken on the role of spokesman for crypto exchange FTX.
As an FTX spokesman and brand ambassador, O'Leary will receive pay in the form of crypto, and will also hold an equity stake. O'Leary reportedly signed a multi-year deal and requested the form of payment himself.
When announcing his new role, O'Leary highlighted how, although he desires to increase his crypto exposure, compliance is a top priority for him. He suggested that his new relationship with FTX will enable him to ensure he remains compliant as he starts to invest in crypto in new ways.
