Honor, a Chinese smartphone company, has released the first Snapdragon smartphone to support the digital yuan.
The hardware development marks another step on the People's Bank of China's CBDC journey.
The Magic 3, which is built on the 888 chip, will be able to a hold a digital yuan wallet. It will also boast hardware-level security.
