A survey by Finder.com, an economic comparison website, has highlighted Vietnam as a leading country when it comes to crypto adoption.
42000 people were surveyed across 27 nations and 4 continents, and Vietnam came out on top, with 41% of respondents saying that they had bought crypto. Approximately half of those who had purchased crypto had purchased BTC.
The website suggested that Vietnam's high numbers may be a result of migrants wishing to send funds home without paying high fees.
Adoption rates were also significant in Indonesia and India, where 30% of respondents had bought crypto. The lowest rates were seen in the UK, at 8%, and the US, at 9%.
