NFT artist Mike “Beeple” Winkelmann issued a warning today sta | Coin Bureau Insider

NFT artist Mike “Beeple” Winkelmann issued a warning today stating that the URL link to his official Discord server was “hacked.” He stated that fans and followers who clicked the link were redirected toward a fake copycat server that could swipe the NFTs and tokens from users that interact with it.

This is the latest in a series of crypto scams involving discord. Winkelmann ended his tweet by stating, “Once again, massive thanks again to Discord for being garbage.” Just a few months back BAYC creator Gordon Goner also tweeted that Discord was not working for Web3 communities and called for a better platform to be built.

Mastercard Launches New Crypto Fraud Protection Tool

According to a report from CNBC, financial service provider Mastercard is launching a new software solution called “Crypto Secure” to assist banks and card issuers in combating crypto-related fraud.

Crypto Secure will reportedly evaluate the risk associated with crypto exchanges on the Mastercard network using artificial intelligence algorithms that rely on on-chain data powered by CipherTrace, a blockchain security startup that Mastercard recently acquired.
