CHUMBI TUESDAY We are back with a text-based Chumbi Tuesday Update for you.
It has been a big week at Chumbi. We had a few of the team taking some time off sick and with personal matters, but we still achieved a lot.
We have also had many discussions around the most important mechanics to be released at Beta.... we know you will be very excited by the direction we are taking. Game Development • Continued map build development on Brightwind Fields and beginning to work on Cloudfall and Amberglow Forest. • Working with animations and refining the way that we manage the animations (using spine animation) Game Art • The art team are working on completing environment props/landmarks for the next region 'Amberglow Forest' and 'The Sacred Plains' which is home to the 'Primordial Tree' where all breeding happens. • Concept art team has been working incredibly hard on the following: - The Amber - The Trees S/M/L - The Small Props ( Grass, Weeds, Stumps) - Dead Trees/ Stumps - Stones S/M - sketches for Shrine of the Neutral Primordial - sketch for Shrine of Giving - sketches for Sage’s house - side and back views for the Sage - sketches for the Monument of mysticism - sketches for the Flower Primordial
Other • We have initiated contact with the winner of the colouring comp. • We are also in final stages of hiring our game economist and game designer. • We burned 100,000,000 CHMB tokens on Dec 1st • Our Game Development Update #1 will be released tomorrow! The update will include a video walkthrough of the current build in Unity
