CHUMBI TUESDAY
It's a text based one this week! Not as good as a video I know I know We will be back with our video format asap.


Game Development

• Farming prototype. Having now set up the game architecture, our developers can begin to sink their teeth into some of the fun game mechanics beginning with the farming prototype. They are implementing the player hotbar (inventory), and developing the mechanics/controls of tilling the ground with the hoe tool, planting seeds, watering the crops, and finally harvesting the berries. (Insert satisfying berry pickup sound here )


Game Art

• Primordial Highlands region reveal. Scroll up a bit to see some of the great work coming from our art team for this beautiful new biome. Here you will be able to breed your Chumbi at the Breeding Shrine located at the base of the Primordial Tree. The tree will grow pods that will hatch new Chumbi. In the game, you will be able to breed any 2 types of Chumbi together to create a new Chumbi NFT, but there are advantages to breeding compatible Chumbi types.
• Next region WIP. We have already begun on the artwork for trees and environment assets for the next region... (Which is secretly my fave region of all )
• The art team are also working on some wooden bridge designs for crossing over creeks/rivers in-game


Other

• New Discord channel. This one is a goodie. It's dedicated to visual mockups and video WIP Walkthrough builds. Check it out on our discord server.
• Crypto Unicorns partnership. The giveaway has finished and an additional 26 winners have been randomly chosen to receive a Crypto Unicorn and Land NFT Bundle.

Did You Know
• There are 8 types of Chumberries that you will be able to grow in your farm based on Tier 1 Chumbi types. These berries will be used in the game economy in various ways, such as to craft NFT items, and are also required to upgrade your Chumbi Spells.
