Spain is ready to accept miners who are not allowed to work in Kazakhstan

After the destabilization of the situation in Kazakhstan, Spain is seeking to attract bitcoin miners by claiming the country is safe for mining cryptocurrencies.

Internet and power outages in Kazakhstan have taken a heavy toll on the bitcoin mining industry. As a result, the bitcoin network's hash rate decreased significantly.

MP Maria Muñoz wrote on Twitter that Spain is the optimal state for BTC miners:

"The protests in Kazakhstan have affected the environment around the world, including the bitcoin network."

"We see Spain as a safe place to invest in cryptocurrencies, where businesses are provided with opportunities to develop this sector effectively."

The government of the southern country was fairly quick to recognize cryptocurrencies and encouraged the community to declare its crypto-assets. Soon after, many digital currency-friendly regulations emerged in the Spanish market.
