BNB token is a very popular cryptocurrency. Let's take a look at how it started its journey.
BNB was created on the Ethereum blockchain in 2017. This happened even before the launch of Binance. In April 2019, BNB migrated to its own blockchain, the Binance chain.
The initial issue of the coin was 200 million BNB. However, every quarter, 20% of Binance's profits are used to redeem and burn BNB, until 100 million BNB remain.
The BNB token can be used primarily on the Binance exchange. Elsewhere, the token is nothing more than a cryptocurrency that can be bought/sold/stored.
