As usual, let's start with bitcoin, which tested levels below $22,000. By the end of the week, the coin regained its positions to the $22,400 level, but the total drop was around 3% and affected all altcoins, which also ended the week in the red.

Bad news also hit Silvergate Bank. Due to a delayed SEC filing and rumors of bankruptcy, many companies that had partnered with the bank terminated their contracts. Among them: Coinbase, Circle, Paxos, Crypto.com, Gemini, Bitstamp, Bakkt, and Galaxy Digital. Against this backdrop, Silvergate's capitalization dropped by 50%.

However, there is also positive news! The Ethereum Shapella update testing was successful on the Sepolia testnet. On the main network, the update will appear around mid-April, after another test phase on Goerli.
