At COTI, safety has always been our first priority. And as such, our products and wallets undergo rigorous audits and penetration tests.

A few users have notified us of cases where their funds were stolen, and we immediately investigated to ensure our security remains intact. Based on thorough investigations, we can confirm that COTI remains safe, and that most likely these users were victims of having their seed stolen through phishing.

Though such attacks can happen to any user on any chain, where they are custodians of their own keys - we are working with these users to help them, and to provide them with any information we were able to track.
We will also help them track their funds and report to exchanges.

Once again, we want to remind everyone to remain vigilant and safeguard their keys when creating their wallet, we also advise everyone to enable 2FA.

The new Bridge will include a new monitor page, an option to abort swaps or apply for refund, as well as performance enhancements and a re-designed UX/UI.
