Coinbase asks appeals court to direct SEC to begin writing rules for crypto
An appeals court should direct the Securities and Exchange Commission to begin a "long-overdue rulemaking process," Coinbase argued on Monday. The Securities and Exchange Commission violated the Administrative Procedures Act by not engaging in rulemaking and for not providing a detailed reason why it denied Coinbase's rulemaking petition, Coinbase said in its opening brief filed on Monday in the Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
