Bank of Colombia and Gemini to open access to cryptocurrencies
Gemini, a cryptocurrency exchange, will start working with Colombia's largest bank, Bancolombia, on December 14.
This will allow customers to trade in 4 assets: BTC, ETH, LTC, BCH, and buy them directly from their bank accounts.
Gemini said in a press release that they saw the new project as «an important stepping stone to Gemini's strategic expansion in Latin America». They hope that cryptocurrencies «will play an important role in the development of this region».
