A user made $1.4 million from the sale of the NFT
John Knof purchased an NFT from the Bored Ape Yacht Club collection number #9452 for 0.08 ETH and he has now been able to sell his NFT for 347 ETH, the equivalent of $1.4 million.
"I bought my monkey for 0.08 ETH on the night of the mincing and just sold it for 347 ETH. I am speechless. It brings tears to my eyes! I am so grateful to BAYC (Bored Ape Yacht Club) for dramatically changing my life and the lives of everyone in this community. And thanks to Jeff Nicholas for convincing us to buy them," stated Knof.
On May 1, 2021, four NFTs from Yuga Labs were released at 0.08 ETH each.
Right now, the entry price to the NFT Bored Ape Yacht Club is 52 ETH, or $210,000.
