ETH is in trouble
After yesterday's successful Bellatrix update, a problem was found:
The ETH blockchain has seen a huge spike in missed blocks - the frequency at which the network fails to process blocks of transactions assigned for verification. This rate increased by a crazy 1700%. Before the update it was 0.4, after it became 9%. The team is already looking for ways to solve the problem
Also, in anticipation of the transition, the number of new addresses is growing nonstop (Picture 1). Today, the total number of ETH addresses has reached 204,571,827, while at the beginning of August there were 202,361,298. The monthly increase is 2,210,529 addresses. There were 70,000 unique wallets registered daily on the network.
