USDC-whales vs USDT-whales
Here's a graph that shows how the number of millionaire addresses of the two major stabelcoins has changed from the beginning of the year to the present day.
As you can see, USDT-whales (green line) dominated for a long time, but something unusual happened on May 11, which contributed to the overflow of capital into stackablecoins from Circle (red line) and now USDC-millions outnumber their competitors by 546 units.
The aggregate balance of bitcoin holders who have been storing coins for more than a year has increased by 250,000 BTC since the Luna crash on May 7. A total of 12,730,000 BTC, or 67% of mined bitcoins, are stored at such addresses.
Whales are withdrawing bitcoin from exchanges. What's next?
Another signal that the bottom has been reached was the change in strategy of wallets with balances between 1,000 and 10,000 BTC. They began to withdraw coins from trading platforms - hence, they do not plan to sell them right now.
According to Ali Martinez, about 40,000 bitcoins were withdrawn from the exchanges. Over the week, whale address reserves grew by 30,000 BTC, and they accumulated a total of 5.12 million coins. Bitcoin's exchange balance dropped to 1.93 million BTC.
