​Binance launches blockchain and cryptocurrency education program

The course should include 18 lessons on the basic principles of blockchain, Web3, decentralized finance (DeFi), DAO and so on. Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao, Coinbase president and COO Emilie Choi, venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz general partner and a16z Crypto founder Chris Dixon, American publicist and Nobel Prize-winning economist Paul Krugman are set to be speakers.

"As civilization advances, there is a need to understand the latest technology to create business models that would not exist with legacy traditional finance. Blockchain can expand people's freedom without sacrificing other aspects such as security and ease of use," announced Changpeng Zhao, discussing the need for an educational project.

In September, Binance had already launched an educational program for law enforcement, promising to help teach how to identify financial cryptocurrency crimes faster. In March, Binance hosted Binance Learn and Earn: users were enticed to earn crypto-assets while learning.
