Bitget exchange invests $30 million in BitKeep wallet
The management of cryptocurrency trading platform Bitget reported an investment of $30 million in the BitKeep multi-purse. Thus, the company received a controlling stake. This deal will enable the exchange to increase the range of services offered. In addition, it will allow BitKeep to improve the security and efficiency of the service. The two firms will move forward in combining the sectors of decentralized (DeFi) and centralized finance (CeFi).
The deal will allow both projects to increase their user bases and develop joint products. BitKeep cryptocurrency wallet was created back in 2018. As of March 22, 2023, it was being used by more than 8 million people in nearly 170 countries. The vault supported about 90 key blockchain networks, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB Chain and others, as well as more than 250,000 types of digital assets in 20,000 decentralized applications.
