FTX has created a gaming division for the introduction of cryptocurrencies and NFT
The FTX cryptocurrency exchange is launching its own gaming division, the purpose of which will be to encourage game publishers to use cryptocurrencies, blockchain networks and non-interchangeable tokens.
FTX Gaming, operating through the FTX branch in the USA, debuted with the "crypto-as-a-service" platform, through which gaming companies will be able to launch tokens and offer NFT support. This month, the division began hiring a completely remote team consisting of software engineers with coding experience on the Unity game engine.
The entry into the gaming industry followed FTX's November announcement that, together with two partners, it would invest $100 million in integrating the Solana blockchain into video games. First of all, we are talking about games with "play to earn" mechanics.
