Layer 2 developer Eclipse is set to launch Polygon SVM, a bloc | Moonhub

Layer 2 developer Eclipse is set to launch Polygon SVM, a blockchain that will be compatible with Solana and built for the Polygon network. The blockchain aims to allow Solana developers to migrate their apps to Polygon without having to rebuild code for the Ethereum Virtual Machine. Polygon SVM uses the SeaLevel Virtual Machine and Rust-based Solana apps can be transferred and run on the Polygon network. The testnet is expected to launch in Q1 2023, with the mainnet following in Q2. Eclipse raised $15m in a pre-seed funding round in September and is a portfolio company of Polygon Ventures.
