MarginFi has introduced an experimental AI chatbot called Omni, a unique custom build of OpenAI's ChatGPT designed to interact with users' crypto wallets. The goal is to simplify Web3 tasks such as depositing and withdrawing tokens from decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols. Currently, Omni can only interact with marginFi, but CEO Edgar Pavlovsky aims to expand its functionality and make it a virtual assistant for navigating Web3. Although the technology is experimental and has some limitations, it represents an early merger of AI and cryptocurrency.
