Despite the fact that “Metaverse” came in second place for Oxford Dictionary’s word of the year contest, interest in the nascent concept is widespread, highlighting its potential to be the spark that brings mass adoption to the crypto industry. According to the results of a recent survey conducted by business and technology strategy adviser Capgemini, 93% of adult consumers surveyed indicated that they are curious about the Metaverse and interested in learning more about it, while 4% of respondents indicated that they are already using the Metaverse, and 3% identified as “Metaverse skeptic.”
