The blockchain project MegaETH has raised $20,000,000 from notable investors including Vitalik Buterin and Joseph Lubin.
The idea behind #MegaETH arose due to the limitations of most Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM)-compatible blockchains, which can handle only 3-digit transactions per second (TPS), while MegaETH aims to achieve 100,000 TPS.
The public testnet of the platform is planned to launch in the fall, with the mainnet launch expected closer to the end of the year. This project has the potential to be a breakthrough in 2024 or 2025.
