2023-03-01 19:00:05 New research by crypto payment processor CoinGate published on March 1 indicates that in 2022, Litecoin was the fourth most utilized cryptocurrency as a payment option for online shopping registering 88,295 LTC-involved orders or 9.5% of total cryptocurrency payments handled through CoinGate. Also, the number of Litecoin payments for last year represented a growth of over 6% from the 2021 figure of 83,620.

2023-03-01 14:30:51 Analysts predicted a threefold increase in Marathon Digital revenue

At the end of the fourth quarter of 2022, the revenue of the mining firm Marathon Digital will amount to $38.4 million. This forecast was given by the analytical company FactSet, reports The Block.

According to experts, the figure may be three times higher than in the third quarter, but less than for the same period last year ($60.3 million).

Marathon posted a net loss of $24 million compared to $75.4 million three months earlier, analysts said.

The company postponed its scheduled financial data release on Feb. 28 because it miscalculated the depreciation of its digital assets and bitcoin mining pool revenue from the end of 2021.

As a reminder, Marathon Digital sold 1,500 BTC in January 2023 to cover some of its expenses.
