KlimaDAO will launch on the 18th on Polygon. There have already been several types of presales. Presellers will get their tokens airdropped to them on the 18th as well. This isn't a fair launch, so don't ape into it blindly.

What is KlimaDAO:
KlimaDAO is a clone of OlympusDAO (which is being advised by the Olympus-Team), that uses a tokenized version of carbon credits in its treasury to back the token's value.
It uses a set of game theory mechanics to incentivize token holders from taking actions that benefit the protocol overall (like staking), instead of selling or swing-trading.
Just like Olympus, the staking-rewards for Klima are insanely high. The starting APY for Klima seems to be around 18000-20000% (yes, you heard that right: 20k% APY)

What is Polygon:
Polygon is a Ethereum layer 2. You can basically treat it as a separate chain. It's much faster and dirt cheap (similar to bsc).
The important thing for you is: On Polygon, you pay gas fees with the MATIC token - not ETH. Thats why you need to get MATIC in your wallet.

1. Preparation - Setting up your MetaMask
EZ Mode:
Go to the official Polygon Website and connect your wallet: https://wallet.polygon.technology/
The polygon configs will be added automatically to your MetaMask (chain id is 137. Ignore MetaMask warnings)
(if you use Trust Wallet, just export your ETH/BSC private keys, then import a polygon wallet in Trust - use the same private keys you've just exported)

2: Get MATIC
There are several ways to get MATIC:
- Binance (warning: binance often times suspends MATIC withdrawals)
- Other No-KYC exchanges: KuCoin is a popular exchange. I personally did it via Whitebit, since they have super low withdrawal fees

3. Buying:
The Liquidity pair for Klima will be USDC. Sushi can just route your MATIC to Klima automatically - but if you want to save that extra millisecond, you should pre-purchase some USDC - it's a good idea to do that on a MATIC-pump day to get the most out of it
