Quick recap on the market: 1) The 2008 mortgage crisis was ca | Crypto Network

Quick recap on the market:

1) The 2008 mortgage crisis was caused by loans given to people knowing that they would not be able to pay off, and that's when the disaster occurred.

- Banks went bankrupt, including Bear Stearns Bank, and JP Morgan bought it at a very low price.
- Lima Brothers Bank acquired by Bank of America.

2) In October 2007, US stocks began to collapse.

3) A $700 billion rescue plan in September 2008 was rejected for the first time and the situation only got worse, with prices going even lower.

4) November 2008, the Senate approved the bailout plan, the market saw a dose of hopium then continued the decline until March 2009.

The outcome of the decline is -58% for the large equities, and some low mcap did way worse.

What does that have to do with us?

A couple of days ago, a bank like Silicon Valley, with this huge amount of assets averaging around 209 billion, falls in two days...

Some say that there are plans to save SVB.

My opinion: they could save it or not... but eventually, banks will continue to go bankrupt, especially small and medium ones. I've been talking about this for long and you should know that by now, we are going towards a recession. It's a cycle and there is nothing they can do about it.

Bitcoin appeared after the crisis of 2008 and actually started in 2009

You all know the goal of crypto: decentralization, no banks control.

With all the banks at risk nowadays, Bitcoin is facing a huge test, either to separate from the stock market, or to engage with it.

A separation will prove its strength and will attract amazing liquidity.

The second... well this proves that crypto is an ordinary asset like stocks.

I think we'll show some resilience attracting buyers and pushing the price up, then... well you know the rest!
