Sealed Cryptopunks: Five Punks on Paper
Sotheby's preparing a new auction of CryptoPunks after the exceptional sale earlier this month.

Of the 10,000 Cryptopunks created by LavraLabs, only 24 were issued in physical form, as certified prints signed by co-creator John Watkinson. Five of those 24 prints will be auctioned at Sotheby’s: #6347, #770, #872, #1819, and #2830 along with a “paper wallet” - a mnemonic code that provides access to the unique Ethereum-based token.

As we were saying earlier, the question of the relations between digital and traditional art begins to arise in the context of intensive development of the NFT. Big auction houses hold NFT sales regularly now not limiting themselves with the "type" of the sale, considering anything related to NFT is in high demand. Moreover, the NFT application is expanding, therefore we don't expect it to fade.
