In a press release Twitter has announced the expansion of its “Tips” payment options with Bitcoin.

It also mentions a project of a new authentication system for users to show off their NFTs via crypto-wallet direct connection to their Twitter account. The visuals of the authentication — such as whether a badge may pop up on a profile or their NFT avatar contains a different shape — have yet to be determined.

These updates are part of a strategy at Twitter to help creators by giving them more ways to share their work and more ways to make money.
