A lot of people always reach out to talk about how they struggle with psychological portfolio values.

I want you guys to not focus too much on what you want to make, the psychological values ($100K, 500K, 1M, etc).

Focus on executing. Focus on your risk management. Focus on being in sync with the market. Focus on which assets are hot and trending vs dead and boring.

If you’re too in your own head about arbitrary values, you’ll psyche yourself out and inevitably nuke yourself.

Ever seen someone who’s so paranoid that they’ll fail an exam, that they’re flustered on the exam date and end up doing worse?

Same thing. Focus on the right things and everything aligns. Focus on the nonsense, mental masturbation stuff and you’re going to keep going in circles.
