Indonesia’s Berkah Digital And Alchemy Pay Secure License For Crypto Transactions
Berkah Digital, a fintech company based in Indonesia, and Alchemy Pay, a blockchain-based payments platform, have jointly obtained a license from the Indonesian government to operate in the country. This announcement was made in a recent press release from Alchemy Pay.
The license enables the two companies to conduct digital payments in Indonesia, a market with a population of over 270 million people and a rapidly growing digital economy. According to the press release, the license will allow Berkah Digital and Alchemy Pay to “develop, distribute and operate digital payment services in compliance with Indonesian law.”. Berkah Digital, on the other hand, is a relatively new player in the fintech space but has already made significant inroads in Indonesia. The company’s mission is to empower micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
