According to tradition, DAO.vc CEO and founder George Galoyan is amongst the experts being questioned by the media redaction and has shared his opinion:
«One of the blockchain benefits for banking system is operations transparency. Blockchain allows tracking any transaction and makes it impossible to launder money through banks. The information has earlier emerged concerning the money laundry exactly through the banks instead of blockchain. Blockchain, in its turn, makes all transactions traceable and provides an opportunity for blocking by law enforcement agencies.
As early as last year, in terms of anti-corruption struggle, Kazakhstan was actively supporting blockchain technologies implementation at all levels, including banking system. They said that it’s blockchain that enables transparent money managing: see what and where has been sent and quickly identify the key recipient. We can make a conclusion that banks will go on actively implementing blockchain technologies.»
George Galoyan emphasized that blockchain experts outline two main problems:
Low awareness of what blockchain is and how it works.
Lack of available Internet in the majority of regions.
«When China was implementing their digital currency — digital yuan — they conducted mass training on how to use digital currencies, how blockchain works. An active information policy was being conducted, and it brought fruit. It’s crucial to understand that we mustn’t work blockchain into rotation, offering no information and explanation on how it works. Therefore, the priority question is people’s training», he added.
