#WhatsApp launched a pilot project that allows you to send and receive #cryptocurrencies directly to chat - this feature works on #Novi, a digital wallet from #Meta that was launched as a test project a few weeks ago.

Sending a payment works the same way as sending any other attachment to #WhatsApp — the user accesses this feature through the paperclip icon on Android or the + icon on iOS, and then clicks “Pay”.

#Novi claims all payments are instant and there are no fees at all.
