From our initial investigation, one of our development team member's wallet was compromised and the hacker used mint function on the masterchef contract to mint tokens and sell them to drain liquidity on our PCS Pool. We will take every step possible with help of cyber crime investigators. Exchanges will be notified to freeze the respective account if any deposit attempts are flagged.
We would like to sincerely apologize to the whole community, it's a shock to all of us, and we are deeply saddened by this event. We have made every effort to make Eagle Vision stand out with the other quality projects in the space. We had great intentions and goals for the project ahead with recent cex listings and development roadmap ahead.
Challenges:
Since tokens were locked into various staking and farming contracts, we have no way of conducting an accurate snapshot of balances. There was also a sudden boost in volumes and EVI was trending #1 on dextools with hundreds/thousands of transactions after the exploit. For this reason we are unable to get an accurate snapshot for an airdrop.
Plan ahead: As we have lost 100% of the liquidity for the project, we will be shifting gears backwards to a more community focused, fun and engaging project with 100% security and no chance of exploits. We have started coding a new smart contract for EagleVisionADA we will no longer be offer farming staking or swap services.
Our new contract will have a higher supply with reflection rewards in ADA token. I will spend more time with the team to focus on marketing only, instead of development. We hope to achieve even better results than we had in the early going of EVI.
We hope you will support our new decision, this is the only way to reunite the community.
